Volunteers

The Murwillumbah Community Centre is a not for profit organisation staffed by volunteers. Most work done for or by the MCC is done by volunteers, this website is no exception.

Origins

The original Murwillumbah Community Centre website was built in 2006 by David Smith, overseen by Peter "Geek" Sibilant, working with Web Zone as part of a Job Futures (Work for the Dole) Project.

At a later date the website became damaged due to being updated by inferior quality WYSIWYG software

Since David was unavailable to repair the website, Terrence of Tweed Web Design volunteered to fix any anomalies and has updated the site to include greater functionality as well as more pages and various cosmetic changes. The drop down menu was requested by the MCC coordinator.

Future Developments

A dynamic content management system (CMS) is being considered as the next stage of the website's development.
